There are so many lists out there that share the top travellers to follow on Instagram to get your dose of wanderlust. This is is not one of those. Instead, I aim to highlight some really cool travel projects found on Instagram. Photos that revolve around a theme. Or a different perspective. Accounts with some kind of unifying arc to it. From traveling stuffed animals to beautiful tiles and doors, here are 10 unique travel projects to follow on Instagram:

Probably the most well known of these accounts, that have inspired lots of copycats, follow photographer Murad Osmann’s girlfriend, now wife, as they explore the world (and in fabulous outfits!). You can see behind the scenes of their photoshoots as well.
Wally Found
Did you ever try to find Waldo as a kid? Well, he’s been spotted wandering around the UK.
Travelling Cars
Little toy cars getting themselves into dramatic situations. This is like no other road trip.
Llama With No Drama
Everyone could use a little less drama and a little more llama in their life right? Especially when it has such a cute smile on too.
Sad Topographies
Described as ‘somewhere to go, when you’re feeling low’, the Instagram account is dedicated to finding the saddest sounding places on Earth.

The Door Project
You can learn a lot about a place just by taking a look at the doors. They can hold so much personality and history as this account demonstrates.
The World and Eye
Taking selfies to another (eye) level. This project was started by a traveling friend of mine (that’s her in the photo!). See if you can find my contribution!
